Jyothika Saravanan is a former Tamil film actress who acted in several Tamil films.
Jyothika was born to Chander Sadanah, a film producer, and Seema Sadanah, on 18 October 1978 in Mumbai , India Mithibai College
She married actor Surya Sivakumar, whose real name is Saravanan, on 11 September 2006 , with whom she had acted in several films. The couple has a daughter, Diya, who was born in August 10,2007 and a son, Dev, born on June 7, 2010 .
Career:
Her first movie was the Hindi film Doli Saja Ke Rakhna with her co-star Akshay Khanna , directed by Priyadarshan.
She later ventured into the Kollywood film industry. Her first role, in 1999, was a cameo appearance in Vaali, which starred Ajith Kumar and Simran. That year, another film, Poovellam Kettuppar was released. She played the protagonist's love interest, alongside her husband, Surya Sivakumar.
She was awarded the Filmfare Best Tamil Actress Award for her role in Kushi. She also received the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress for Perazhagan in 2004, Chandramukhi in 2005 and Mozhi in 2007.
